In the modern world we live in today, many people go through life desperately searching for something, or someone who can give meaning to their existence. And many more want to find answers or seek directions because they feel useless or lost. So many people wander aimlessly and they’re often afraid.
And then we can also hear some people say that the meaning of life lies solely in the pursuit of happiness, success, the development of personal skills, and the accumulation of wealth. But, most of the time, these types of people who defend this vision of life, are actually proposing goals that not only fail to satisfy them, but also intensify and exacerbate the thirst. What these people have is the “too earthly” interpretation of life that goes against what Christ wants for us.
We can make the light of Christ illuminate our way of life by placing God at the very center of our existence.
We can make the light of Christ illuminate our way of life by placing God at the very center of our existence. It is a way of life that goes beyond the limits of earthly existence. It is a way of life that shows God’s love for us. Sure, each of us has moments of crisis, weariness, discouragement, and sadness, but Christ can provide the ultimate answer to each of our longings for a joyful, satisfying, and God-centered life.
There are many reasons or circumstances that can make some people feel surrounded by darkness. Our daily experience can tell us that life is marked by sin, and that is why all the sufferings, death, and cruelties in this world came into being. But Christ destroyed death and sin, in the mystery of his cross and resurrection, which gives man the ability to achieve the glory of eternal life.
